ABOUT ME
Prof. Daniel Alves Castello received his Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, in 1997, a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute (COPPE), Brazil, in 1998, and a D.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute in 2004.
In January of 2006 he joined the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), in the city of Niterói, Brazil.
In August of 2006 he joined the Escola Politécnica at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
He also worked as a visiting scholar at the Applied Mathematics Department at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, from October 2011 until October 2012.
